Day 7 VLCD

What a great day we're off to! Weigh in brought a 1.6 loss... to 169.8 hmm, more curry n mustard dip today I promise! Tom is still here so obviously he's overpowered by me kicker lol! Over the past couple of days something 'odd', 5 rounds on p2 and here I am thinking ohh.... I want some almonds, oops, not on p2, kk some rinds... hmm... nope, um... damn, what the hell can I eat! then the end of the night and oops, forgot a fruit! It's amazing how quickly we settle into p3 and it made me think how easily we can settle into old routine... so keep your drive alive, continue to remind yourself every day of where you came from and where you're going and in that journey you will never lose sight of the blessing that is you! I do not follow the original P&I as my doctor's protocol allows for both cauliflower and broccoli... I have had great losses with using both, however I do use them sparingly. I have tried Walden Farms dressings and dips and with having enough rounds to gauge the differences, I can say that we are all different. Just as some of us cannot do coconut oil, some of us cannot have dairy, some are vegan, and some use alternate plans... I do use lotions and conditioners sparingly, and to be honest, I chose this path for myself... if my weight loss takes a little bit longer, that is ok with me as it also allows my skin to tighten up, my level of stress to be at a minimum, and my daily enjoyment with cracked heels, food variety, and pocket book savings to be as well. Find what works for you and as you change your lifestyle, please make sure that it is something that will last... because you love it, not because you are finding new ways to 'control' an aspect of your life...

Day 6 VLCD

What a great day, up and weighing at 171.4, I'll take it! Plan for today is to enjoy the 76 degree weather and find the perfect gift for a special someone... Golf Clubs! Surprised myself and bought his and her sets! Low and behold Tom is still here, tho good news, there's movement!! Oh glorious days! I decided to try a new sauce for my chicken n veggies, curry n mustard powder with a tbs of water, then a couple of drops of stevia... just wow... simply heaven, the perfect spicy sweet kick. I love hot mustard, sweet n sour, even wasabi and this was the perfect combination of the three. Let's see how tomorrow brings release with this kicker! Sweet dreams and happy releases!

Day 5 VLCD

Well... down to 171.9 this morning, not too bad with Tom's family still in town! Breakfast is hazelnut coffee with Capella toffee n stevia... yummy! Might try a whirl in the magic bullet with some ice in a bit if the sun keeps beaming down her rays of love! Nothing to crazy new today, simple chicken and spinach, wanting to get the inside moving and hope this will help, putting an extra handful of greens into lunch and dinner... Big plans for tomorrow so off to an early bed tonight... Happy releases!

Day 4 VLCD Closet clean out

Shopping and cleaning out the closet today! Amazing sales, brilliant sun and a great burst of energy! Weigh in at 172.6, down 2.2 from yesterday and loading! (Tom is still here tho I chose to ignore him!) I managed to find some end of the season bathing suits, great work out pants, some halter tops and great t-shirts! I love thrift store buys as today I found  pink wine glasses to go in a pick nick basket! P3 here I come, for now it will be apples in that basket! I am sore as the day draws to an end. Tom can wreak havoc on my body and this visit seems to be his whole family! Lunch was broiled chicken breast with a bed of spinach (still no movement) and dinner was a delicious spinach bed topped with three egg whites + one whole egg... a favorite that usually gets me moving in more ways than one! Let's see what tomorrow brings! Off to read a book in bed and relax for the evening... Happy releases!

Day 3 VLCD

What a beautiful day today is... down to 174.8, 11.3 of loading weight gone already! Tom is in full swing, uninvited and unexpected as usual of course. Enjoying some hazelnut coffee to get the morning started and planning my day. Memorial Day weekend is usually packed with activities, sales, outings, and friends aplenty... this all of course with food temptations! It's hard to decide what to do and how best to avoid temptations. I've taken to lugging around water bottles, coffee cups, and tea bags to make my own refreshments wherever I go. It's also nice to have an apple at the ready or to make a strawberry smoothie before heading out. There's a bag of 'living butter lettuce' in the fridge that I am looking forward to this weekend, sweet crunchy love of lettuce! Time to pack up and head out... I'll finish this later!
What a day. Made some Melba toast with toffee capella n stevia for flavoring. Using 1cup all natural whole red wheat flour and 3/4 c water I made the dough. Very thick, and harder to spread, I use parchment paper and a cookie sheet. Spreading out the dough to cover the entire sheet I pop it in the oven at 385 for 30 min. Flip the dough sheet half way through cooking and when it's done grab the pizza cutter and make yourself 40 little squares of heavenly toast!
I have had insatiable cravings today, went nuts on tea and water, a lil overboard with the CD and now after an extra heaping of salad in my dinner, I'm looking forward to my apple snack! When craving I will thin slice the apple and lay out the tiny morsels on the convection oven pan, sprinkle with cinnamon n stevia, bake at 300 for ten min and then savor every last slice of 'apple pie' heaven! Tomorrow is a new day and I have an early morning planned. Off on errands, then a little more menu work!

Day 2 VLCD

Thanking the release Gods, morning weigh in 178.5... now that's a good start! Headed to the kitchen with a little extra pep this morning, smiling as I decide on today's coffee flavor. Vanilla custard to start today! Counting out 4 hours from wake up, it's time for lunch. Weighing out my chicken, it's time to broil with garlic and onion powder. Served on a bed of baby spinach lunch was delicious. Time to spend some quality time on line with my gals and to research some ideas for this week's menu. It's a beautiful day out and after getting some afternoon air, it's time to start dinner. I have an incredible urge to eat all the CD in the freezer, ahh.... Tom is visiting. How wonderful for him to stop by. I wondered where the fullness of breast had come from. I know the loading helps, however they are a bit on the fuller side today. Perhaps a detox bath soon. It's been a great day of catch up and touching base, off to say some kind words and prayers... Happy releases!

Lunch - Grilled chicken on bed of baby spinach
Snack - Apple
Dinner - Baked chicken with steamed spinach in lemon, garlic, coconut oil, and nutmeg
Snack - Apple heated with cinnamon n stevia

Day 1 VLCD

Nervously I stepped on the scale this morning... 186.1! Wow, I knew I had put on the lbs however that's incredible! I did three days of loading prior to my two days with HCG and prior to that I was weighing in at 168-169. Not wanting to be discouraged, I remind myself that the loading weight will fall off in a matter of days and our bodies as amazing as they are, they do not create white fat that quickly! Off to the kitchen for my first round of Coffee... and to fill my water bottle!

Lunch - Chicken and spinach salad with Strawberry Vinaigrette
Snack - Apple
Dinner - Cottage Cheese Cheesecake
Snack - Apple heated with cinnamon n stevia sprinkled on top

Loading Day 2

Hard to believe from 36 cupcakes I'm down to 18! I shared lol... The peanut butter is almost gone, as much as I love Adams, I can't stay faithful with him in the house so he will have to be devoured! I had cereal for breakfast, Cinnamon Toast Crunch... pancakes for dinner made with ricotta cheese, raisin nut bread with home made honey butter for snacking, a chicken bake from Costco, some more pudding... and CUPCAKES!!! Oh how I seem to miss those tasty little morsels on VLCD's I sent the remaining of my 'no-no' foods off to new homes and took out the chicken to defrost. Dusted off the food scale and braced myself for tomorrow's weigh in! I have learned to not weigh on the morning of loading day 2 as it can cause me to not load as fervently as I must! I loved today's constant snacking of trail mix, sipping on wine and plate of cheese n meat snacks, adored the peanut bar and macaroons from girl scouts days gone by... You may wonder how I had time to eat all of these wonderful treats, simple- I lived in the kitchen all day! Around midnight it was time to head to bed, stomach stretched to capacity and fingers swollen, nothing more was going to fit in this girl... well, maybe just another cupcake!

Loading Day 1

Rise and shine... head in the fridge, looking for that heavy whip cream for the coffee... Before the day starts there's a need for my coffee! I am excited to dig into the peanut butter cupcakes I made last night. Coconut Pecan frosting on butter cream peanut butter cupcakes and cinnamon roll cupcakes are lined up on the counter waiting to be devoured! By ten am I am FULL! Still, always room for another cup o' joe! I'm enjoying strawberry shortcake coffee with capella drops n a dash of stevia... doesn't get much better than this! I learned months ago how much better fresh ground and pressed coffee tastes compared to the auto drip and I've become even more of an addict if that was ever possible! The day was somewhat a blur, filled with avacado, pudding, chicken, cottage cheese, chocolate, peanut butter, and more yummy cupcakes! Full and so happily content, it's off to bed to start all over again!
